ITTF Global Junior Circuit Event

Aspire Academy students had an exceptionally successful performance at the ITTF Global Junior Circuit Event, 2012 Tunisian Junior & Cadet Open during the 9th  -12th of  October.

In the qualifications, Jassim Al-Sanadi and Abdulrahman Al-Naggar won decisively with 3:0 against the teams of Algeria, Egypt B and Morocco. In the semifinals, Aspire Academy students also won against the French team, which was deemed to be a favorite, in a very good match. The finals with Egypt only, however, showed a better performance for the Egyptian team.

In the semifinals, the best French pair won with 3:2, and Aspire Academy students had match ball in the fifth set. For the placement in the semifinals, Jassim Al-Sanadi won against the best players from France and Egypt amongst others. He lost in the semifinals with 3:1 against the winner of the tournament Huang Chien-Tu.

Mohammed Al-Haddad proudly won Gold in the Mini Cadet Singles. In the competition of players born in 1999 and younger, our student Mohammed Al-Haddad, who has lost only one set on the whole tournament, was by far the best. Two more students – Mohammed Khalil Ali and Nawaf Al-Malki placed in the quarterfinals.
