Gulf Cup of Nations draw held

The draw ceremony of the 21^st edition of 2013 Gulf Football Cup of Nations was conducted in Manama city of Bahrain on Thursday.

Qatar national team is pooled in Group A beside the hosts Bahrain, Sultanate of Oman and United Arab Emirates, as the group B includes defending champions, Kuwait, Yemen, KSA and Iraq. In press release following the draw ceremony, Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Mahmoud, the Director of Qatar football team made remarks and said Qatar is pooled in strong group with teams having the same technical level in the game. “Qatar national team is ready for the GCC football gathering” added Mr. Al-Mahmoud.
