Qtel wishes ‘Eid Mubarak’ to customers with unlimited mobile data

Qtel’s Hala and Shahry customers can share “Eid Mubarak” greetings with friends and family, and download videos and games to their mobile, thanks to a special promotion of unlimited mobile data from 25-31 October 2012.

With more people using their mobile phone to surf the Internet than ever before – and strong demand expected over the Eid holiday – Qtel is providing customers with unlimited mobile data in Qatar over the holiday. The unlimited mobile data offer is one of the most extensive Eid rewards that Qtel has yet offered its customers, and the company expects a strong response from customers.

Shahry Standard and Shahry Pack customers will automatically receive Unlimited Data, while Hala customers simply need to top-up their account with QR50 or more to enjoy the Eid Internet bonus.

With unlimited mobile data, customers can post “Eid Mubarak” greetings on social media websites and mobile apps, and share their memorable holiday experiences with friends and family. Friends and families can also share interactive e-cards and other greetings during the Eid break.

Shahry Standard and Shahry Pack customers are automatically enrolled in this promotion, and do not need to opt-in.

Hala customers can top up their account with QR50 or more through a number of ways, including at any Qtel Retail Shop or Self-Service Machine, or by scratch card or eTopUp at www.qtel.qa. Hala customers will also enjoy the standard free inclusive international calls with each top-up over QR50, as well as the unlimited data offer.

Customers travelling outside of Qatar during the time period and Mobile Broadband users will not be covered under the promotion, and they will be charged at normal rates for Mobile Internet use.
