Hilton opens first property in Qatar

Hilton Worldwide has announced the opening of the Hilton Doha hotel, marking the foray of the global hospitality firm into the Gulf country, Gulf Times has reported.

Located on the headland of the Corniche, the 309-room Hilton Doha boasts a number of features including a 750-capacity ballroom, a dedicated conference wing and the first eforea: spa at Hilton in the Middle East. The new property also features seven meeting rooms, six restaurants and bars, an outdoor swimming pool, a kids club, a private beach and a view of the Arabian Gulf from every bedroom.
