Injaz Qatar and VCUQ launch course to teach entrepreneurship

Injaz Qatar, a non-profit organisation and a member of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, joined hands with Virginia Commonwealth University – Qatar (VCUQ) to initiate ‘Company Program’.

The ‘Company Program’ is a module which has been incorporated into the Business of Design class and is expected to run from September to December, 2012. The programme will be taught at 12 schools and universities this academic year. It provides the students with an opportunity to establish and run a company by developing business ideas, raising capital and producing and selling products and services.

At the end of the programme, students will be able to liquidate the company with balance sheets and income statements, and present their business to a panel of judges at a national competition.
