On the occasion of World Diabetes Day, Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C, Qatar’s next generation bank, in association with the Qatar Diabetes Association (QDA), recently organized a Diabetes Awareness Session entitled “Risk Assessment program”. More than 50 research proposals were showcased at the Fourth Surgical Research and Innovation Ideas Al Zahrawi Symposium recently hosted by Hamad Medical Corporation’s (HMC) Surgical Services and Medical Research Center.

Over 400 HMC staff, along with staff from the private healthcare sector, attended the three-day symposium which showcased research creativity, innovation and the enthusiasm of clinicians and researchers from across surgical and perioperative sections at Hamad General, The Cuban, Rumailah, Al Wakra and Al Khor Hospitals.

Aspire Zone Foundation has organised a series of community activities for all family members to enjoy as they watch participants compete in a set of physical challenges in hopes of winning the “Qatar’s Strongest Man” title.

Located in Aspire Park’s car park opposite Outdoor Pitch 10, the Fan Zones are designed to accommodate spectators attending the competition. Community activities organised to take place in the Fan Zones will run for two days from December 02-03.
