To earn a place on the Dean’s List students in the Communications Program need to demonstrate a 3.75 GPA and students in the Journalism and Strategic Communication Program are required to achieve a 3.7 GPA.

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce that it has selected CFM International LEAP-1A engines to power its new fleet of 50 A321neo family aircraft, the largest order of A321neo family aircraft in the Middle East.

Alongside the engine deal, the national airline of the State of Qatar has also signed with CFM International a rate-per-flight-hour support agreement to cover its entire fleet of LEAP-1A engines, including spares, for a combined total value of $4 billion at list price.

In its bid to further support the national digital strategies and policies developed and promoted by the State of Qatar, the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MoTC), through its Qatar Digital Government Training Programme (QDGTP) initiative, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Huawei Technologies. The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the Qatar IT Conference and Exhibition (QITCOM 2019) held from October 29 to November 1 at the Qatar National Convention Center in Doha.

Following the completion of their three-month journey at Qatar University’s (QU) Al-Bairaq program, 112 preparatory and secondary students presented 29 projects and ideas at the Research and Innovation Conference held at QU’s Ibn Khaldoon Hall. Nakilat-Keppel Offshore & Marine (N-KOM) has successfully completed a major fabrication project as part of its contract for Qatar Petroleum’s Bul Hanine Redevelopment (Phase B), which was awarded by McDermott Eastern Hemisphere Limited (MEHL). The facility commemorated the achievement of 1 million man-hours without any lost time injury (LTI) during the project completion ceremony held recently, attended by Qatar Petroleum and McDermott.
