During a week when athletics took centre stage worldwide, Doha College had the fortune of hosting record-breaking athletes who met students and ignited their aspirations.

Following the visit of record-breakers Mike Powell (long jump), Ashton Eaton (decathlon), Brianne Theisen-Eaton (heptathlon) and Stefan Holm (high jump), Doha College was thrilled to welcome sports and TV personality and Iwan Thomas MBE. Multi-medalist Iwan still holds the British record for the 400m event, which he set back in July 1997, just over 22 years ago.
