Organisers of the 2nd Entrepreneurship in Economic Development Forum led by Qatar University College of Business and Economics (QU-CBE), in collaboration with Qatar Ministry of Economy and Commerce and the Interactive Business Network (IBN), have revealed that Qatar Development Bank is the event’s Economic Development Supporter.

To be held under the patronage of H.E. Sheikh Ahmed bin Jassim Al-Thani, Minister of Economy and Commerce, the Forum is scheduled to take place on 2-3 March 2015 at the Sheraton Doha Resort and Convention Hotel under the main theme ‘Fostering the New Generation of Entrepreneurs in Qatar and the Gulf’.

Meanwhile, Mr. Raed Chehaib, Chief Executive Officer of IBN expressed his gratitude to QDB for their sponsorship and support of the Forum. “Having big named organisations such as QDB on board with us as sponsors and partners is indeed reflective of the value and significance of this Forum,” Mr. Chehaib said. “As experts themselves in the promotion, encouragement and development of entrepreneurship, either through financing, training and business incubation, such expertise are indispensable components towards the attainment of the objectives of this Forum.

QDB helps develop local industries by supporting small and medium enterprises in Qatar. QDB aims to promote and facilitate the development and growth of small and medium enterprises in core economic realms, which would then result in long-term socio-economic benefits to the people of Qatar.
