In cooperation with Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority organized a comprehensive course on Integrity, Ethics and Transparency for public sector employees to enhance the capabilities of public officials and to promote integrity, ethics and transparency in the country's various sectors.

Through this training program, participants learned about local and international standards of integrity, transparency and ethics, the "core values" of the law, organizational message, government policy, culture, and images of integrity violations and ways to avoid them. As well as how they can regulate the costs of violations of integrity, and the program has provided them with knowledge to assess the importance of governance and accountability. Also, through this program, participants were able to enhance awareness of the Code of Conduct, ethical values and ways of dealing with ambiguous situations.

Furthermore, HE Hamad Bin Nasser Al Missned, President of the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, said that this training program comes within the framework of the Authority's development plan, to enhance the capabilities of public officials to raise their competence and equip them with the knowledge that enhances their scientific and practical capabilities. It is also part of ACTA’s approach to benefit from national training centers and institutions, such as the Qatar Financial and Business Academy, to familiarize themselves with the characteristics of the Qatari work environment and its experiences in training.

In his speech at the conclusion of the program, Dr. Khalid Al-Horr, Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA), noted that the growth of the public sector is essential to the development of any emerging economy, and the aim of these training programs is to provide public sector professionals with appropriate tools and methodologies in order to enhance their skillsets and gather the knowledge necessary to steer their growth trajectory in the right direction. He also stressed the need for cooperation between public institutions in order to support Qatar to improve transparency and promote integrity and ethics in the public sector, consequently he also stated that QFBA aims to deliver its customized programs to credible organizations in order to contribute towards realizing the vision of a knowledge-based economy.

The program concluded with an innovative workshop in which participants tested a realistic scenario and sought practical solutions to the posed challenges. Thanks to these initiatives, Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) and the Administrative Control and Transparency Authority (ACTA) are renewing their desire to collaborate to raise the level of public sector employees to the highest levels by providing world-class education, which contributes to building an important pillar in the 2030 vision of human development.
