Airbus Group will participate in the annual Qatar Maritime Security Coastal and Border Surveillance Conference (QMARSEC) beginning in Doha on 14 October.
Now in its second year, QMARSEC which runs until 15 October, is a high-profile conference designed to cover the most pressing maritime and coastal security issues. These include:the emerging threats facing civilian and military maritime communities; protecting vital economic, transport and distribution chains; port, harbor and coastal security; and maritime surveillance operations. Hosted by the Qatar National Security Shield Project (NSS), the conference is expected to attract leading naval experts and leaders from coast guards, international military organizations, critical national infrastructure authorities, customs and border agencies as well as industry bodies and research organizations from Qatar, the Gulf region and international players.
