The Organising Committee of Pan Arab Games signed the TV broadcasting rights contract with Al Jazeera Sports Channel at the La Cigale Hotel on Thursday.

The contract was inked by HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, QOC Secretary General and Chairman of Pan Arab Games Organising Committee and Mr. Nasser Al Khelaifi, General Director of Al Jazeera Sports Channel.

The signing ceremony was also attended by Mr. Khalid Al Mohannadi, Pan Arab Games Executive Director, Abdullah Al Mullah, Director Media and TV Broadcasting and Abdulrahman Al Dosari, Head of Marketing Department and officials of Al Jazeera Sports Channel.

HE Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani stressed that awarding the TV Broadcasting Rights to Al Jazeera Sports Channel is due to its experience in covering major sports events.

The QOC Secretary General stressed that Qatar is not only aiming at hosting Arab Games but at creativity in organisation as the forthcoming Arab Games will be a landmark in the history of Arab Games.

Mr. Khalid Al Mohannadi, Executive Director of Pan Arab Games stressed that organising committees is coordinating with the Arab Embassies in Doha to facilitate the arrival of fans to Qatar.
