Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) Q.S.C. , next generation bank, has launched a social media campaign on platforms such as Facebook, twitter and Instagram. The idea behind the campaign is to have the public express their love for Qatar through ‘selfies’ taken around the country showcasing some of their favorite places and locations.

All participants need to do is to take a ‘Selfie’ photo at their favorite location in Qatar and post it on al khaliji’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages with the hashtag #alkhalijiselfie. The photos with the most likes will receive recognition in the media and online. This is a great opportunity for both locals and residents to get out and explore Qatar and all it has to offer. Through this campaign, users will learn more about Qatar and the many places and opportunities that the country has.

Every December 18th, Qatar celebrates its National Day. This annual remembrance emphasizes the Qatari people's identity and history, embodies the ideals and visionary aspirations that the State was founded on, and pays homage to the generations who participated in building the State of Qatar. al khaliji 's social media campaign launched on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram is driven by its social commitment, while working to deliver next generation banking by blending tradition with innovation.

The initiative comes as part of al khaliji's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program based on a proactive and resolute approach and in line with the four pillars of Qatar’s National Vision 2030 of Human, Social, Economic and Environmental Development.
