The Public Works Authority ‘Ashghal’ announces that it will divert Al Manaseer Intersection into a temporary signal-controlled roundabout with four lanes, in addition to diverting traffic on part of Al Furousiya Street (leading to the roundabout) into parallel diversion lanes, as shown in the attached map.

The diversion will start on Saturday 21 July 2018 and will last until 15 November 2018, in coordination with the General Directorate of Traffic. The diversion aims to enable expansion works on Al Manaseer Intersection to accommodate the current and future traffic, through constructing additional lanes. The intersection will consist of four main lanes, three lanes to turn left, and one dedicated u-turn lane on Al Forousiya Street. This is in addition to constructing a new surface water network and other infrastructure utilities, as part of Al Furousiya Street Development Project.

The Public Works Authority will install road signs advising motorists of the diversion. Ashghal requests all road users to abide by the speed limit, and follow the road signs to ensure their safety.
