Alfardan Automotive Group, importers of some of the world's most iconic brands, was recognized for its strong support of the 27th GCC Traffic Week which wrapped up its activities last week. Displaying an array of its most advanced vehicles such as Jaguar XF, Range Rover, BMW X5, BMW GranTurismo and BMW 5 Series, Alfardan Automotive Group was the official silver sponsor of the week-long programme which saw in attendance scores of high ranking traffic officials from across the GCC.

The GCC Traffic Week is one in a series of initiatives which are being organized year on year. Others include the Schools without Accidents campaign reaching out to students and promoting knowledge of safety on the road."

The 27th GCC Traffic Week, titled "Let's Work Together to Curb Traffic Accidents", opened last week at a ceremony held in Doha. The opening ceremony was attended by HE Major General Saad Bin Jassim Al Kholeifi, Director General of Public Security, and Director of Traffic Brigadier Mohammad Saad Al Kharji, a number of directors of departments of the Ministry of the Interior and the Heads and members of the delegations of the GCC participants and a large gathering of citizens and residents.

Following the opening ceremony, HE Major General Saad Bin Jassim Al Kholeifi, Director General of Public Security opened the traffic exhibition associated with the GCC Traffic Week. The exhibition included a number of pavilions for participating companies and institutions to showcase their methods and procedures, as well as publications for traffic safety.
