Following the success of its inaugural July 4th all-American BBQ held last year, The American Chamber of Commerce in Qatar (AmCham Qatar) held its second celebration of America’s Independence Day Friday. This year’s event was enjoyed by distinguished Chamber members, their families and friends at Doha Rugby Club.

Guests enjoyed live music from the popular Qatar-based residence Reggae Band from the St. Regis Doha, as well as participated in raffle draws throughout the evening with prizes ranging from overnight hotel stays, yoga sessions to business class airline tickets.

It has been a productive and busy year as we have strived to foster mutual cooperation and understanding between Qatar and the US through trade, commerce and investment. We are honored to be celebrating our Country’s Independence Day with food, music and fun alongside our current and prospective members.”

The July 4th BBQ is part of a busy schedule of upcoming events for AmCham Qatar. As the first foreign Chamber of Commerce established in Qatar, AmCham is a key access point and advocate for American business leaders in Qatar with over 120 members spanning the financial services, engineering, energy, health and education sectors.
