The Public Works Authority 'Ashghal' announced that it will put in place a temporary diversion on part of Al Rayyan Al Jadeed Street for a distance of 700 metres near Al Rayyan Police Station and in both directions, as shown in the attached map.

The diversion will be implemented as of Friday 6 May 2016 and will last 9 months, in coordination with the Traffic Police Department. During this period, traffic on the closed section of the New Al Rayyan Street will be diverted to a newly constructed road adjacent to the closed road with the same current number of lanes, as shown in the attached map. Access to key public services, such as Al Rawabi Woqod Petrol Station and the Al Rayyan Police Station, will be available through a signal-controlled intersection near Al Busayer Street.
