During Milipol Qatar 2014, an exhibition focused on internal security, BAE Systems will demonstrate how it can help protect a nation, showcasing products and solutions from both its cyber security and military air businesses.
BAE Systems Applied Intelligence will demonstrate how its military-grade technology helps governments and industries around the world combat growing cyber security threats. BAE Systems’ presence at Milipol Qatar will also include capabilities from its Military Air business – namely Eurofighter Typhoon (pictured), the world’s most advanced new generation swing-role combat aircraft – and training and support solutions, including the Hawk advanced jet trainer.
“We are delighted to be attending Milipol Qatar for the first time – a flagship internal security and industry event in Qatar. At a time when organisations are increasingly vulnerable to cyber attack and in the face of rapidly evolving security threats around the world, BAE Systems’ Applied Intelligence and Military Air business provide military-grade solutions that can help protect a nation.
“As a trusted defence and security partner throughout the Gulf with a strong presence in Qatar through our office in West Bay, BAE Systems is delighted to have the opportunity to engage with our customers whilst developing closer bonds with Qatar as the nation continues to deliver an inspiring vision for the future. We would like to thank the Ministry of Interior for providing the perfect platform to connect with customers and decision makers in Qatar,” said Ben Bridge, Managing Director, Middle East & Africa for BAE Systems.
Organised by the Ministry of Interior of the State of Qatar, Milipol Qatar will be hosted at Doha Exhibition Centre from 20-22 October 2014. For more information on BAE Systems visit www.baesystems.com or follow @BAESystems_Gulf on Twitter for updates.
