The Bedaya Center for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (Bedaya Center), a joint initiative by Qatar Development Bank and Silatech recently hosted its monthly networking event for entrepreneurs and this month it was held at the Mövenpick Hotel Al Aziziyah Doha. Titled “Show & Tell” Luxury Projects Forum and hosted a number of luxurious projects owned by local entrepreneurs.

The forum was an extension of the networking event “Startup Show and Tell” held in January 2017. This was aimed at sectors like fashion, jewellery, bags, watches and event planning and showcased the successes they have achieved in the local market. The forum also highlighted the services and ways needed to develop them, engaging with visitors and other entrepreneurs and benefiting from their opinions and suggestions, creating the best platform to introduce those sectors to the local audience.

“At Bedaya Center, we are constantly seeking ways and methods to support entrepreneurs either via workshops and courses conducted on a monthly basis or through consultancy provided by our advisors or by the monthly meetings, gatherings and initiatives. These are hosted on a periodic basis to support the local projects and help them reach advanced levels and stages."

This served as a golden opportunity for me and other entrepreneurs, as we were able to promote our businesses and share the features of our products. We also took into consideration the views of our audience, which also helped those wishing to start their own business by sharing with them our experience and defining the work mechanisms by demonstrating the best ways and methods that could be adopted in their business endeavors."
