Bin Yousef Group will be donating 200,000 QAR worth of food to Qatar Red Crescent (QRC) to support the charity in offering Iftar meals during the Holy month of Ramadan.

Along with a mix of healthy food and confectionaries, Bin Yousef extends its wishes and prayers in the current pandemic situation. The group's Chief Operating Officer, David Ford said, "We as a group understand the difficult times that everyone is under, and although heavily affected ourselves, we are trying to bring some support to the Doha community. We hope that this partnership with the Red Crescent, in the spirit of giving of Ramadan will give relief to some of the less fortunate who are perhaps even more affected by the physical and mental burden of the lock-down."

Established in 1978, Bin Yousef group, that holds Bin Yousef Cargo, is actively involved in supporting the economy and society in the past few years. By assisting in time-critical cargo logistics of hospital building initiatives and chartering delivery of PPE masks into Qatar for COVID-19, along with various other non-profit engagements with Qatar Cancer Society, the group aims to encourage its staff and partners in the spirit of kindness and generosity.
