More than 60 of Qatar’s leading public relations and communications professionals gathered on Wednesday evening at the Grand Hyatt Hotel to celebrate the first anniversary of Blue Rubicon LLC, the international office of London’s leading strategic communications consultancy, operating in Doha. Blue Rubicon’s local management team of Neil Daugherty, Managing Director, and Kieran Toohey and Chris Lauwerys, Directors, were joined by Global CEO Gordon Tempest Hay to host the evening, which was attended by Blue Rubicon’s 14 local staff, and several Qatari dignitaries.
Nicholas Hopton, British Ambassador to Qatar said, “We are very pleased to continue to support the growth of very successful British professional services firms in Qatar such as Blue Rubicon. Qatar is a key business partner for the UK, and there is a wide range of major opportunities in the market to attract British companies to locate and do business in Doha. My congratulations to Neil and his team locally on their continued growth in Qatar. We wish them every success in the future.”
Neil Daugherty, Managing Director, Qatar, added, “We are pleased with our progress in Qatar in this past year, building on a long term commitment to the country and to helping its major institutions communicate the rapid development and ambitions of the country.”
