Vodafone Qatar’s mobile network topped the Communications Regulatory Authority (CRA) Quality of Service levels audit, in which an extensive assessment of mobile networks to benchmark the coverage of 2G, 3G and 4G networks in Qatar was undertaken.

The audit, conducted from May to December 2017, benchmarked some Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) of services such as data service, voice calls and text offered by all service providers in Qatar.  

Vodafone Qatar ranked first on local data with best speeds achieved for average download and uploads. On voice, Vodafone Qatar has the fastest call set-up time and best voice quality, as well as achieving 100% on call completion. Vodafone Qatar customers are now experiencing crystal clear voice quality and enhanced data speeds which allows for seamless online content streaming and superfast downloads. This is thanks to a number of capability upgrades made to Vodafone Qatar’s network that is considered the groundwork necessary to launch 5G services.
