The panel will present the ‘Civil Society Statement on Parenting’, which was launched at DIFI’s ‘Parenting, Child Wellbeing, and Development’ conference in Doha in October 2018. On the same day, DIFI, with the IFFD, will co-host a panel titled the ‘Value of Unpaid Care and Domestic Work’. The discussion will be held in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of The State of Qatar to the United Nations; the Division for Inclusive Social Development, UN DESA; and the International Federation for Home Economics.

DIFI will conclude its participation with a panel titled ‘Towards Family Sensitive Protection’ on February 14. The discussion will be held in collaboration with the Permanent Mission of The State of Qatar to the United Nations, UN DESA, United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia, Berkeley Social Welfare, and the International Council on Social Welfare.
