Doha College has been alive with excitement during the last two weeks of August as students have been receiving their A Level and (I)GCSE examination grades. Following a hard and intense examination period, the students had a long wait to see if they had secured the grades needed to access the next stage of their education.

These figures place Doha College comfortably in the top one hundred UK schools, a measure associated with an outstanding school.  The outstanding examination performances have enabled a number of students to be offered university places at Cambridge, Oxford, Yale, Brown and other leading universities throughout the world.

Mark Leppard, Principal, explained: “We are extremely proud of the wonderful results our students have achieved at A Level and (I)GCSE.  I should particularly like to highlight the 5A*s Tisal Edirisinghe, Arun Das and Jonathan Coutinho achieved at A Level – these are exceptional results which demonstrate the opportunities the college offers to all of our students.”

Teresa Woulfe, Senior Vice Principal, Head of Secondary commented: “Although the wait for examination results can be a worrying time for all involved, I’m sure that our students are delighted with their results. They have been rewarded for the hard work and commitment and should be incredibly proud of their efforts”
