The two day Solar Qatar Summit came to an end today. The second day witnessed the attendance of H.E. Dr. Mohammed Bin Saleh Al- Sada Minister of Energy & Industry, and H.E. Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari, KAHRAMAA President and senior functionaries. The Summit was held under the patronage of H.E. Eng. Essa Bin Hilal Al- Kuwari, KAHRAMAA President, from 18- 19 November 2013 at Grand Hyatt Doha.

 Al-Sada and Al-Kuwari met exhibitors and organizers of the summit. The minister was briefed on KAHRAMAA’s renewable energy projects and about the recent trends in solar energy sector across the world. He was also informed about KAHRAMAA’s presentation made yesterday.

Speaking on the occasion, KAHRAMAA’s President HE Al- Kuwari said that KAHRAMAA’s goal is to make renewable energy competitive and profitable, therefore, we are interested in the deployment of renewable energy, energy efficiency and low-pollution technologies.

He extended his thanks to the organizer of the summit and welcomed stakeholders, professionals, delegates and exhibitors gathered at the event.

The first day of the summit was also featured with a KAHRAMAA’s presentation titled “Kahramaa towards Creative Methods to Exploit Renewable Energy Sources” by Mr. Saleh Al- Marri, Head of Renewable Energies Technologies. He spoke in- depth over ongoing related projects in Qatar and answered queries pertaining to the KAHRAMAA’s solar energy initiatives.
