Etihad Aviation Group has concluded its 4th annual travel agent workshop in Doha, in which it hosted more than 150 members of Qatar’s travel trade from various agencies. Etihad Aviation Group’s relationship with travel trade across Qatar continues to grow from strength to strength, and the popularity of the annual workshop is testament to that. Marking the fourth year, the excitement and energy was quite high during the networking session before the workshop began.

The event, which took place at The Westin Doha Hotel & Spa, consists of latest updates on Etihad Airways routes and services and was concluded with a guest speaker presentation by Visit Britain. The airline provided latest updates on its premium products such as the A380, The Residence, First Class apartments and suites, Business Studios, and services that cover dinning on board, Business flatbeds, US lounges and US Preclearance. This was completed with Etihad Airways bringing crew which consisted of a Chef and Food and Beverage manager to speak directly to travel agents about their experience of bringing premium quality services to guests flying with Etihad. One of the topics also included the Etihad SuperSeller program, which is an incentive based scheme that rewards travel agents who book Etihad.

Joining the event was partner airlines Jet Airways, Air Serbia and Alitalia who all presented updates of their offerings to the travel trade. Also, the guest speaker during the workshop was the official tourism of Great Britain, VisitBritain. Guest Mark Grossfield, B2B Manager in the Middle East gave a presentation about the popular holiday destinations in the UK; this includes London, Kent, Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle and many more. The event was concluded with a delicious buffet offering prepared by The Westin hotel.

Etihad Aviation Group operates four daily flights between Doha and Abu Dhabi with convenient connections onwards to more than 100 destinations around the world.
