German and Qatari investors visited Pars Special Economic Energy Zone (PSEEZ) and expressed readiness to invest in its development projects. Mehdi Yousefi, PSEEZ managing director, also said a delegation from Izmir Chamber of Commerce, Turkey, was briefed on the zone's investment opportunities, IRNA reported. To facilitate the participation of foreign investors in the zone's development projects, PSEEZ has offered new investment packages pertaining to the fields of tourism, hotel and greenhouse construction, and energy and renewable energies.
Managing Director of Iran International Exhibitions Company Hossein Esfahbodi and Manager of Messe München International Eugen Egetenmeir discussed ways of expanding cooperation in holding expos in a meeting in Tehran. Speaking in the meeting, Egetenmeir listed his company's future plans for participating in Iran's exhibitions. He hoped that Iran will be able to hold ConMin biennial expo (International Trade Fair for Construction Machinery, Mining, Building Materials and Natural Stone Industry) every year and host other exhibitions pertaining to industries, such as auto production.
Esfahbodi said Iran and Germany have a longstanding history of cooperation. "In view of Iran's recent progresses in nuclear talks with P5+1 (the five permanent members of the United Nations plus Germany), the country is expected to be able to expand cooperation with Germany in hosting expos in the near future," he said.
