Our students aged, 4-14 years, from Compass International School Doha could signed up for sponsored laps, skating as many as possible on the ice of Gondolania, Villaggio. Special thanks to Gondolania Theme Park who helped to make this event work. All proceeds skated by the children go to Paws Rescue Qatar, in Doha. Paws takes care of dogs and cats, they try to give the best possible care they need, from shelter and food to medical care, adoptions etc.

Netherlands Ambassador, Her Excellency Dr Bahia Tahzib-Lie opened the event and started by skating herself. Her Excellency Dr. Bahia Tazib-Lie: ‘The Dutch love ice skating, as sports or just  for fun. It’s part of Dutch cutural heritage. No matter how old or skilled you may be, everyone can have fun on the ice. We’re grateful that Qatar provides excellent ice skating facilities. I’m proud that LanguageOne has organized a charity event. Great to see children skate to raise money for Paws Rescue Qatar.
