Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is hosting an interactive information session on Wednesday, February 15th at 5pm at the HBKU Student Center in Education City for its Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering program. The event offers those interested in becoming students, as well as their family members, the opportunity to directly engage with faculty and staff to better understand academic requirements, admission process, and curriculum before completing their application.
HBKU continues to be committed to cultivating a multidisciplinary learning environment for all students. The Computer Engineering program, part of the College of Science and Engineering (CSE), leverages partnerships with other Education City institutions. Students on the program will be able to enroll for select courses at Texas A&M University Qatar and Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar. These courses complement the classes and seminars administered by industry experts and the distinguished HBKU faculty. Computer engineering graduates are ranked among the top five most sought after candidates by hiring managers from Fortune 500 companies. Recent recruitment statistics show that professional roles in the field have grown exponentially with the proliferation of increasingly complex and interconnected technology and services.
Prospective students interested in attending the information session should plan to arrive at the HBKU Student Center by 4:30 pm and are strongly encouraged to register online at hbku.edu.qa/infosessions.
