HEC Paris, one of the world’s leading providers of executive education, will be running an Executive Short Program designed to give professionals a distinct advantage in the increasingly competitive digital age.

The two-day program, entitled ‘Marketing Through Social Media’, will be led by renowned HEC Paris Associate Professor of Marketing, Kristine de Valck, at the HEC Paris Doha Campus, in Tornado Tower, on February 11 and 12. The program will show participants that social media channels are more than just communication tools and how they can be strategically leveraged to successfully market a business. Prof De Valck, whose research and teaching over the past 15 years has focused on how the internet has changed consumer behavior and the marketplace, said: “We are in the midst of a marketing paradigm due to the digital revolution. The four Ps of marketing: Price, Product, Promotion and Place have evolved because of the rise of constantly connected consumers.”

We will further educate participants on how they can engage with influencers for targeted marketing purposes. This program is designed to give participants an edge in an increasingly competitive market”, added Prof De Valck.
