International Bank of Qatar (ibq) has announced the 20th winner of the Bank’s monthly prize draw for the ibq loyalty program, thanq.

This month’s winner, Qatar Airways Captain Manuel Ortega, was delighted to have won 100,000 thanq reward points after being in the thanq program for two years.  A first time winner he and his friend plan to visit Machu Picchu, the 15th century mysterious Inca ruins in Peru for their summer holiday this year, a new destination for him as he normally flies routes to Asia.  Manuel thought the thanq website was particularly user friendly and was thrilled with the monthly draw result.  He received his prize in a ceremony held at the Bank’s headquarters in the presence of Andrew Ball, AGM and Head of Retail Banking at ibq.
