International Gulf Trading Company (IGTC)-Chubb Fire Qatar – the country’s leading supplier of fire safety equipment and security solutions – has announced the signing of a contract with the Qatar Red Crescent for the delivery of three ambulances. Under the terms of the commercial agreement, IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar will implement basic ambulance conversion on three free-issued, white-coloured GMC Savana 42’s based on customized specifications. .

Qatar Red Crescent QRC ambulance 2 [qatarisbooming.com].JPGOnce completed in accordance with the ISO 90001 quality assurance system, the units will include facilities for one primary patient, a secondary patient, and space for medical equipment storage. “Ambulances are extremely important support vehicles for any unforeseen and emergency situations,” said Mr. Rami Batrawi, General Manager of IGTC-Chubb Fire Qatar. “Accordingly, these vehicles must be designed, built and equipped in accordance with the most stringent specifications in order to provide the much-needed emergency and quick response care to those in need.

 “At the same time, it must also be able to provide fast, reliable and safe transport of patients to the nearest facility for further medical attention,” he added. “Considering the vital role that the Red Crescent plays in Qatari society, we are therefore extremely proud to have been entrusted with this critical task of meeting their requirements for ambulances.”
