The board of Injaz Qatar (a non-profit organization and member of Junior Achievement Worldwide) has appointed Mr.Emad Al-Khajaas Executive Director. As well as significant leadership qualities he also brings marketing and finance experience to his new role.

Al-Khaja will be responsible for leading the organization in it’s mission to help the youth of Qatar  as they prepare for a career that will contribute to the ongoing economic growth in their country. He will oversee INJAZ Qatar’s future development and lead strategy for growth initiatives in line with Qatar National Vision 2030. Prior to his appointment, Al-Khaja worked at the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA); he was also employed previously at HSBC Bank in corporate banking and marketing. Al-Khaja has always been an active member of society and demonstrates commitment to his own education; he holds an MBA degree from Paris Business School in France and is currently pursuing a degree to become a Chartered Marketer.

Commenting on his new role as Executive Director, Al-Khaja said:  “It is with great pride that I join the INJAZ Qatar family. I strongly believe that development is about transforming the lives of people, and not just transforming economies. I’m therefore looking forward to working hand-in-hand with the business community, corporate volunteers and educators to encourage young people in their journey as they strive to become effective entrepreneurs and leaders.”

Focusing on entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy INJAZ Qatar’s management welcomed Al-Khaja recognizing that he will be an asset in achieving the three pillars. Chaired by Sheikha Hanadi Al Thani INJAZ Qatar Board of Directors includes representation from NBK Holding, Blue Salon, Citi Bank, Deloitte, Exxon Mobil, HSBC, Qatar Financial Centre Authority, Ooredoo, Qatar Petroleum, Qatar First Bank, Qatar Finance & Business Academy and Qatar Business Incubation Center.

Since its inception in 2007, INJAZ Qatar has inspired and prepared young people to succeed in a global economy. INJAZ Qatar has reached around 15,000 students across 43 schools and 6 universities thanks to 75 corporate partners and over 650 corporate volunteers, and recently delivered programs to students in Al-Khor. Moreover INJAZ Qatar’s Cooperation with the Ministry of Labour and social Affairs has facilitated further workshops for students and has been one of its latest achievements.Al-Khaja’s passion towards national development, will allow INJAZ Qatar to seek more opportunities to enable Qatar’s youth becoming business leaders of the future.
