As a show of gratitude by INJAZ Qatar to all its education partners, an appreciation event was held at the Four Seasons Hotel, headed by INJAZ Qatar & INJAZ Al Arab Board Member Sheikh Saud bin Nasser Al Thani and Ms Fouzia Al Khater, Head of the Education Department at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education.

INJAZ Qatar is a partnership between the business community, educators and volunteers- all working together to inspire young people to dream big and reach their potential. INJAZ Qatar is an affiliate of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide®, the world’s largest non-profit business education organization reaching 9.7 million students.  JA’s hands-on, experiential programs teach the key concepts of work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy to youth free of charge.

Sponsored by ExxonMobil Qatar, the event on Thursday 29th September recognized and honored the school principals, college deans, and teacher volunteers who were all part of INJAZ Qatar’s success over the past academic year 2015/2016. Attending the event were representatives from the schools that worked with INJAZ Qatar since its inception in 2007, as well as new potential schools. Over 200 guests were in attendance and they included focal points from schools, universities and youth centers, school principals, Deans from colleges in Qatar, representatives from the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and INJAZ Qatar’s Board members and Education Partners.

Emad Al-Khaja, INJAZ Qatar CEO commented on the occasion: “This year, we at INJAZ Qatar have decided to hold an appreciation event dedicated solely for the schools, universities and educational institutes that we worked with throughout the past academic year. By doing so, we are ensuring that the assets of our programs are being well recognized and honored for their hard work in delivering INJAZ Qatar’s pillars to more than 4200 students this year. We would like to thank everyone for their amazing work and for making the past academic year an incredible success”.

“I express my sincere gratitude for the educators who are not only teaching the youth of Qatar but are also contributing to the preparation of a passionate, young generation of students who will succeed in the global economy. Because of these schools and educational institutes, our Qatari youth are well aware of their environment and their commitment towards their community - something which makes INJAZ Qatar a proud organization”. Since its inception in 2007, Injaz Qatar has delivered its programs to over 23,000 students across more than 70 schools and universities thanks to over 1,000 corporate volunteers from 85 partner companies.
