Nine General Managers from InterContinental hotels across Europe visited Doha this week to promote their hotels as key destinations for both business and leisure travellers from across the Kingdom.

The Middle East is an important outbound market for many European destinations. The World Tourism Organization (WTO) reported that within twenty years, the Middle East market is due to grow to a total of 37 million outbound tourists per year, spending an estimated $20 billion.

As part of a series of events across the region, General Managers from InterContinental hotels in London, Geneva, Paris, Rome, Cannes, Istanbul, and Athens, as well as Beirut, met with potential clients and key business partners across Doha, helping to drive business forward and develop new relationships.
