The Joint Special Forces on Thursday celebrated the graduation of the 13 Parachuting course for the 14th batch of the candidates of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College for the training season 2018/2019.

The graduation was attended by Commander of the Joint Special Forces HE Major-General Hamad bin Abdullah al Fetais al Marri, Commander of Ahmed Bin Mohammed Military College HE Fahad Mubarak al Khayareen and Military Attache at the Embassy of Kuwait in Qatar HE Brigadier-General Huwaidi Sahan al Hajri. A total of 125 operations parachuters graduated from the four-week course which started with 129 candidates.

During the course, the participants were trained and prepared through theoretical lectures and exercises held in the Joint Special Forces’ wing. Among other skills, participants also practised the principles of jumping, in-flight procedures, under-parachute procedures, landing procedures and parachute control. The course included a number of tests to ensure candidates readiness for parachuting, parachute testing and emergency procedures.
