Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) said it will announce tenders for local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) worth QR6 to 7bn in the next five years, especially in the main materials used by the corporation in the electricity and water network.

Kahramaa is taking advantage of Moushtarayat 2018 to present all the required data and the mechanism of submitting tenders offered by Kahramaa to SMEs, the corporation’s head of supply department, Ismail Salem Al Harmi, said on the sidelines of the event. He added that Kahramaa also gives priority to local products as per the law and works on encouraging and supporting national SMEs to continue participating in tenders.
