Katara, the Cultural Village announced today that it will be hosting the first Classical Car Festival from 1st March till 5th March.

Held in association with the Qatar Gulf Association of Classical Cars that is currently under establishment, the festival will showcase classical cars from the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s and will include models from famous brands from across the world.

Commenting on the occasion, Dr. Emad Sultan, Cultural Affairs Director said: “This event is the first of its kind to be hosted Katara, celebrating the automotive history. The exhibition is a fantastic opportunity to remember and promote motoring heritage, providing an exceptional experience to all classic cars collectors and fans. Katara is committed to fostering a community and providing a platform for various initiatives, all of which contribute to our long term vision to educate, entertain and demonstrate the importance of cultural exchange.”

Taking place at Katara’s Esplanade, 55 classic cars will be on display throughout the exhibition.
