The leading lawyers and law firms in Qatar will be honoured at the inaugural Qatar Business Law Forum & Awards in Doha on Thursday (17 Nov 2016). The event is being organised by LexisNexis Middle East in partnership with the College of Law of Qatar University, Qatar Foundation and the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Middle East.

Hussain Hadi, Head of Middle East Publishing at LexisNexis Legal & Professional, said the awards will recognise exceptional achievement from within Qatar’s legal community. “Qatar’s business community is served by a diverse range of established local law firms, as well as international law firms that have established offices in Doha,” he said. “As the country works towards the FIFA 2022 World Cup and the implementation of the Qatar National Vision 2030, law firms are increasingly being called upon to advise on complex transactions and PPP projects. The Qatar Business Law Awards will celebrate the accomplishments of those law firms that have excelled in their areas of expertise.”
