Mashreq Qatar, one of the region’s top financial institutions has again been awarded the title of Best Consumer Internet Bank. The bank now has the distinctive honour of winning the award for the third year consecutively.

Mashreq Qatar was chosen as the best internet bank in Qatar in the 12th edition of the awards series by New York based business magazine ‘Global Finance’. A distinguished panel of experts at Infosys shortlisted candidates from among all entries and the final selection of winners was made by the magazine’s editors.

The Best Consumer Internet Bank award in Qatar was chosen on the basis of the following criteria: strength of strategy for attracting and servicing online customers, success in getting clients to use web offerings with the most advances security features, growth of online customers, breadth of product offerings, evidence of tangible benefits gained from Internet initiatives, website design and functionality.
