The Ministry of Interior celebrated the graduation of the third class of police recruits, in a ceremony held in the Police Training Institute and in the presence of Director-General of Public Security Saad bin Jassim Al Khulaifi and a number of ranking officials at the Ministry.
 
The class included 400 trainees from different ranks. The Director-General of Public Security congratulated the graduates and wished them, stressing that they will be a qualitative addition to all security sectors. He called on the new graduates to remain committed to their oath and enforce the law with a high-level of professionalism. Speaking to the press after the ceremony, the Director-General said that the new class was the latest of the Ministry’s efforts in improving their ability to enhance security and stability.
 
He also added that “the training period for this batch continued for six months, through it the graduates have learned many theoretical concepts and practical application in the fields of policing, administration and law. The Police Training Institute this year has imparted 105 trainings to 2156 trainees from the Ministry of Interior and 237 trainees from other companies.In addition, theoretical tests were conducted for 1647 Ministry employees seeking promotion.
