Ooredoo will be the official Platinum Sponsor for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup Asian Qualifier, which starts on Monday, 23 March 2015.

The event, which runs until 28 March, will bring more than 2,000 fans to Katara Beach in Qatar, to see 14 nations compete in the exciting competition. At stake are three Asian Football Confederation places for the 2015 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup in Portugal this July. As official Platinum Sponsor, Ooredoo will offer high-speed Wi-fi connectivity during the event for fans and the media on its bigger and faster network. In addition, the company will organise a special Fan Zone, with a wide range of surprises on offer during the tournament.

Beach soccer was born in Rio de Janeiro and is now played around the world, with five players on each side.
