Ooredoo Qatar has recently celebrated the achievement of being certified to the prestigious Business Continuity Standard (ISO22301:2012) by Bureau Veritas, a global leader in third party certification services. Ooredoo Qatar becomes one of the top telecom operators globally to achieve the certification with an enterprise-wide scope.

The certificate was received by Yousuf Abdulla Al Kubaisi, Ooredoo’s Chief Operating Officer, during a ceremony at Ooredoo’s Doha headquarters. The certificate waspresented by His Excellency Consul Mr. Pascal Fornage, Head of Economic Department at the French Embassy, in the presence of Ooredoo executives and Bureau VeritasCounty Chief Executive Mr. Selim Kseib.

During the ceremony, Bureau Veritas praised Ooredoo for ensuring that the company’s international management systems remain integral to the day-to-day functioning of Ooredoo across all its business processes. This certification reflects Ooredoo’s continuous efforts to demonstrate its capability tocontinue provision of reliable products and services byminimising the impact of disruptive incidents. In addition to this certificate, Ooredoo is also certified for its Quality, Health & Safety, Environment (ISO9001,14001,18001), Information Security (ISO27001) and Service Management (ISO20000) operations.
