Vodafone Qatar’s World Calling Club (WCC) continues to make a world of difference with more than QR1 million given away in prizes and thousands of customers benefitting from international rates as low as 69 DHS per minute when calling their family and friends back home.  Of course, minutes from Super Sunday (when calls to all countries are just 55 DHS per minute) are also included.

Since June, 102 people have won a total of QR 1,020,000 in the World Calling Club Grand Prize competition which ends 31 December. The good news for all Vodafone customers is that every international call they make in December goes into a weekly draw until the end of the year.

The latest World Calling Club winner was Adel Mohamed, a landscaper from Al Khor, who received a cheque for QR10,000 from Vodafone Qatar’s Head of Customer Care, Deirdre Hutchinson, “It was wonderful to be able to share in the happiness of Vodafone’s World Calling Club competition winners. It’s thrilling to know that Vodafone has made a world of difference in their lives,” says Deirdre Hutchinson.

Wise winner Adel Mohamed aims to add the QR 10,000 Vodafone World Calling Club prize to his savings said, “I chose Vodafone because they always have good offers for international calls. I kept receiving the messages from Vodafone about winning QR 10,000 but I never dreamed it would be me who won. Thank you Vodafone.”

Since the new weekly competition started in September, 20 winners have been rewarded with a total of QR200,000 in grand prizes and a total of QR 395,740 in Vodafone credit.
