In support to the Qatar 2022 Bid Committee, the W Doha Hotel & Residences' ambassadors donned Qatar 2022 outfits wholeheartedly cheering for the nation as it nears the end of a worldwide race that helped cast the world's eyes on the Middle East as a candidate for the run to host the sports' most beautiful game.
Over 60 different nationalities, joined under one Qatari flag, filled in W Doha's Living Room all eagerly awaiting FIFA's final decision.
Edgar Vaudeville, W Happenings and Public Relations Manager, W Doha Hotel & Residences: "W Doha is 100% behind the Qatar 2022 Bid. We firmly believe that the nation has gone the extra mile and has saved no effort for the opportunity to stage the biggest game in sports' history for the very first time in the Arab world. Our staff, representing over 60 different countries, has all joined hands today to fly the Qatar Bid flag once more and to show that one of the world's most cosmopolitan cities, Doha, is united in heart and mind."
In September 2010 and on the occasion of FIFA's visit to Qatar, W Doha staff welcomed guests in Qatar 2022 Bid football gear with badges and pins in a lobby transformed by the Bid colours with football themed displays in every corner.
W Doha also hosted international football stars Ronald De Boer from Holland and Gabriel Batistuta from Argentine who were on hand as Qatar 2022 Bid Ambassadors.
