On Thursday, players from the Palestinian National Football team underwent comprehensive medical check-ups at Aspetar, the orthopaedic and sports medicine hospital. The tests formed part of their training camp preparations conducted in Qatar.

Commenting on the medical check-ups at Aspetar, Dr. Badr Aql, Head of the Medical Department for the Palestinian National Team, said: “We are pleased to have reviewed the physical condition of our players prior to competing in the 2019 Asian Cup. Thanks to Aspetar we have completed a number of comprehensive tests for the athletes. They have also undergone other assessments including blood tests, heart-rate stress tests and a number of fitness examinations. As a result, we can be sure that the players are physically ready to play in the Asian Football Confederation.
