PraeLegal’s second successful Annual Conference concluded in Doha on Monday with participation in discussions from His Excellency Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr AL-Mohannadi, Qatar’s Minister of Justice, and a number of other high-profile Legal and leading business figures. Hosted by the Khalid Al Attiyah Consultant & Attorney firm, the Annual Conference was held under the patronage of His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
Widely recognised as the world’s foremost legal cooperation forum, the Annual Conference hosted more than 150 of the world’s most prominent lawyers and legal specialists from the PraeLegal Global Network. Focussing on the on-going international legal challenges and opportunities for international trade cooperation, the conference highlighted the role played by international legal networks in knowledge sharing for the advancement of the global economy.
In his opening speech to the delegates of the Annual Conference, Ahmed Saeed Al Hassan, General Manager of Khalid Al Attiyah Legal Consultant & Attorney firm, and Director of the event’s organising committee, thanked His Excellency Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani for his generous patronage and support. Al Hassan also voiced his appreciation to Minister of Justice HE Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr Al-Mohannadi for gracing the conference with his presence.

During the conference, HE Dr Hassan Lahdan Saqr AL-Mohannadi was presented with an appreciation shield, in honour of his presence and invaluable contributions to the development of local legal structures and environment. The international conference exhibited a lecture and presentation series focusing on international challenges facing international legal firms, and the role played by international legal networks in facilitating global trade and investment. Presentations by PraeLegal member firms also emphasised the contributions of international legal networks in developing sound legal infrastructure for emerging markets across the Middle East and Asia.
On Sunday evening, the Khalid Al Attiyah Consultant & Attorney Firm invited attendees to an honouring dinner at the Diplomatic Club. The dinner was attended by Ahmed Saeed Al Hassan, General Manager of Khalid Al Attiyah Legal Consultant & Attorney, and Director of the event’s organising committee, and a number of senior business and legal figures.
