Prime Minister and Interior Minister H E Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani, the Chairman of Supreme Council of Police College, attended the graduation ceremony of the fourth mandatory qualifying course organised by Police College for the graduates of civilian universities.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister honoured the first in the course and handed over certificates to the graduates. The list of graduates of the qualifying course included 135 attendees from the Ministry of Interior’s different departments and the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) with various specialties. During the six-month course attendees received military, sports and police-related training as well as various academic lectures under the supervision of trainers and experts in various disciplines.

H E the Prime Minister and Interior Minister also witnessed the graduation ceremony of the second group of ‘Tomorrow’s Officers’ program which held yesterday morning at the Police College. The second group of the program included 300 students who received training in sports and military field skills, as well as educational, awareness and religious lectures. About 2,000 students born between January 1, 2008 to January 1, 2011 participate in Tomorrow’s Officers program in its second edition. The program aims at consolidating Islamic and Arab values, deepen national identity and provide students with some sport and military skills.
