The UN Crime Congress Preparatory Committee and Qatar Airways on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to name the airline as the 'Official Carrier' of UN Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice to be hosted by Doha from April 12 to 19, 2015, said Qatar Tribune.

The MoU was signed at Civil Defence headquarters by Colonel Abdullah Khalifa al Mufatah, member of the UN Crime Congress Preparatory Committee, and Ehab Ameen, first vice-president for Commercial Operations at Qatar Airways. As per the MoU, Qatar Airways will provide its services for a number personalities and high-level guests and participating delegates from around the word to attend the conference.

Col Muftah said,"Qatar Airways support as the official carrier of this global conference will have a great effect given the high reputation enjoyed by the airline globally and due to its outstanding customer services." On his part, Amin said,"We are delighted at appointment of Qatar Airways as the official carrier for the 13th United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice. We look forward at Qatar Airways hosting the participants on board our flights and offering our five-star services, in addition to the experience of travelling through the Hamad International Airport, latest in the world air gateway."
