In celebration of the holy month of Ramadan, Qatar Airways hosted its media partners and supporters for Sohour at the St. Regis Hotel Doha, last week. Bringing together esteemed media guests, the annual event is seen as an ideal opportunity to network with local partners and was hosted by Qatar Airways’ Corporate Communications department.

Senior Vice-President Corporate Communications, Salam Al Shawa welcomed the guests and expressed the airline’s appreciation for the media’s support of the national carrier’s growth and development over the last year.

We work closely with members of the media all year around, and it is an important part of our calendar to celebrate Sohour with them. We cannot emphasise how critical media support is for our growth and expansion, and we look forward to having close working relations with the media in Doha over the coming year as well.”

Qatar Airways, the State of Qatar’s national airline has seen rapid growth in just 17 years of operation, to the point where today it is currently flying a modern fleet of 134 aircraft to 144 key business and leisure destinations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, North America and South America.
